Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana
This is another great resort that caters to couples and honeymooners. However, it tends to attract more of a party crowd than the other couples resorts on this list. The amenities are simply fantastic. The pool is enormous and includes a relaxing lazy river. The swim-up bar is always very lively, and a great place to mingle with other guests. The spa is definitely something we highly recommend, as it’s a fantastic place to seek out some quiet time! Make sure to check out the great outdoor courtyard where staff will bring you tropical fruit juices.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana
This is a massive resort that can accommodate all types of vacationers. The list of amenities here is endless. It has 13 pools and restaurants, 23 bars, a golf course, a very active kid’s club, and the largest casino in the Dominican Republic — so you can always be assured of finding an activity that suits your mood. Although it is such a massive operation, kudos go out to the staff for keeping the property so well run and maintained. Rooms are very spacious and perfectly clean. The service is impeccable. In spite of the number of guests that converge on this resort, guests are never felt like they are lost in the crowd.
